Havas Media India has been appointed as the Media Agency on Record (AOR) for Matrimony.com Ltd, one of India’s leading online matchmaking platforms.

As part of the mandate, Havas Media India will handle integrated media strategy, planning and buying across online and offline channels. The partnership will leverage the agency’s data-led planning capabilities, AI-powered consumer intelligence and integrated media expertise to support business growth and drive stronger consumer engagement.

Headquartered in Chennai and listed on both the BSE and NSE, Matrimony.com operates a portfolio of matchmaking brands including BharatMatrimony, Elite Matrimony, Tamil Matrimony, Telugu Matrimony, Kerala Matrimony and more than 300 community-focused platforms.

The appointment adds to Havas Media India’s growing client portfolio and reinforces its integrated media capabilities across markets.

The agency’s South operations are led by Sujata Singh, President – South, Havas Media India, who brings over two decades of experience across organisations including Amazon India, GroupM, Omnicom and IPG Mediabrands.

As part of its ongoing investments, Havas Media India has expanded its Bengaluru operations under the Havas Village model, bringing together media, digital, content, commerce and technology capabilities under one ecosystem. The setup includes teams across Havas Play, Havas Market, Arena Media, CSA and PivotRoots, supported by AI-led analytics and consumer intelligence functions.

The agency has also strengthened its Chennai presence to deepen regional expertise and enhance client partnerships.
