Publicis Digital Experience (PDX) India, part of Publicis Groupe India, has appointed Prashant Sukhwani as Managing Partner, Social, strengthening the agency’s social marketing capabilities across AI, data, creators and cultural intelligence.
In his new role, Sukhwani will lead Social @ PDX India, one of the agency’s three core solution practices. He will work with brands on integrated strategies spanning social, creators, content, search and performance, with a focus on connecting cultural relevance with measurable business outcomes.
PDX India’s social offering is powered by Publicis Groupe’s Connected Identity solution, which provides a privacy-compliant view of individuals across media, creative, content, commerce, CRM and influence. The practice also works with Influential India, Publicis Groupe’s global creator marketing company and platform.
The agency combines AI, people-based intelligence, creator partnerships and cultural insights to help brands move beyond traditional demographic targeting and engage relevant cohorts, communities and creators. It also uses an AI-enabled creative ecosystem to identify emerging trends and activate relevant cultural moments.
Sukhwani will work closely with Amaresh Godbole, CEO, PDX India and Chief AI Experiences & Solutions, Publicis Groupe India.
Sukhwani brings more than 16 years of marketing leadership experience, having worked across ITC, Bunge and Burger King India, where he most recently served as Vice President, Marketing. His experience spans brand transformation, digital transformation and integrated marketing.
During his tenure at Burger King India, Sukhwani led a digital-first marketing transformation by bringing together brand, content, media, CRM and performance while strengthening first-party data capabilities and driving business growth.
Commenting on the appointment, Amaresh Godbole said social marketing has evolved significantly, requiring brands to move at the speed of culture while remaining accountable for business outcomes. He added that Sukhwani’s experience in building integrated, digital-first marketing ecosystems will strengthen Social @ PDX India’s offering.
Prashant Sukhwani, Managing Partner – Social, PDX India, said the opportunity reflects his belief that effective marketing should focus on solving business problems rather than operating through individual channels. He added that bringing AI, data, cultural intelligence and creators together can help brands build stronger customer relationships and drive sustainable growth.
