Sameer Singh, TikTok’s North America Ad Sales Head, has announced his resignation, effective February. Singh, who joined ByteDance in 2019, played a pivotal role in growing TikTok’s ad business globally.

His departure comes as TikTok faces a potential U.S. ban, with Supreme Court hearings on the matter scheduled for January 10. Singh’s extensive career includes leadership roles at Google, GroupM, and GSK.

This leadership change adds to TikTok’s challenges as it navigates mounting scrutiny over data privacy and its future in the U.S. market.
