NuHome has appointed actress Mrunal Thakur as its first brand ambassador, marking a new phase in the home furnishing brand’s consumer engagement strategy. The association aims to strengthen the brand’s positioning around contemporary design, artistic expression and personalised living spaces. Known for its range of curtains, upholstery and other home furnishing products, NuHome seeks to connect with consumers who view their homes as an extension of their individual tastes and lifestyles.
Speaking about the association, Mrunal Thakur said she was delighted to partner with a brand that helps people make their homes feel complete. She highlighted NuHome’s range of designs and fabrics, adding that its offerings allow consumers to create spaces that reflect their vision and personal style. Through the partnership, the brand aims to encourage consumers to explore design choices that make their living spaces distinctive.
Adding to the collaboration, Mrunal features alongside filmmaker Imtiaz Ali in NuHome’s latest brand film, which explores the artistic possibilities of fabrics and interior design. Ali said he enjoyed working with the brand and its creative team on a campaign that treats fabrics as works of art. He also described his first collaboration with Mrunal as a positive experience, highlighting the shared creative approach behind the film.
The brand film has been directed and produced by Samar Gupta under the banner of The Bombay Film Studio. Gupta also conceptualised and co-wrote the film, with cinematographer Satchith Paulose bringing its visual narrative to life. The campaign draws on art-led storytelling to showcase how fabrics and interior design can contribute to more expressive and individual living spaces.
NuHome co-founders Amit Goenka and Aman Goenka said the brand aims to bring the inspiration and emotion of art into everyday homes rather than simply follow design trends. They added that the latest film represents another step towards developing a distinctive design identity for NuHome. With Mrunal Thakur as its first brand ambassador and Imtiaz Ali associated with its latest campaign, the brand is looking to strengthen its presence in the home furnishing market through a focus on creativity, individuality and thoughtful design.
