Palki Sharma has announced the launch of India Global Review (IGR), a digital-first global media platform headquartered in India and focused on world affairs through a distinctly Indian lens.

The platform plans to roll out across key international markets including the United States, Europe, West Asia, South Asia and Africa, with distribution across leading digital platforms and connected television (CTV) ecosystems.

IGR has also secured backing from institutional investors, strengthening its financial foundation as it enters its initial phase of operations and expands its global presence.

Speaking about the launch, Palki Sharma said:

“India is no longer just part of the global conversation, it is shaping it. With India Global Review, we aim to build a credible, independent platform that brings clarity to world affairs through an Indian lens. In a noisy, polarised media landscape, our focus will be on facts, context and perspective, because how you see the world shapes what you believe.”

In line with its global ambitions, IGR has also announced a hiring drive across editorial, production and digital roles, with recruitment planned across multiple geographies as the company builds international bureaus and a worldwide reporting network.
