Prime Video’s latest comedy-drama, Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya, has emerged as the No. 1 non-English series worldwide, entering the platform’s global Top 10 within four days of its premiere on July 24.

The series has also become Prime Video India’s biggest Original series debut in the last two years, attracting viewers from 87% of India’s PIN codes. Its blend of humour, warmth, and relatable storytelling has resonated with audiences both in India and internationally, with the show now streaming in more than 240 countries and territories.

Commenting on the milestone, Nikhil Madhok, Director and Head of Originals, Prime Video India, said the success of Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya reinforces the platform’s commitment to telling authentic, locally rooted stories with universal appeal. Co-creators and executive producers Biswapati Sarkar and Sameer Saxena described the audience response as humbling, thanking Prime Video for supporting the project and giving the creative team the freedom to tell the story authentically. They noted that while the series is deeply rooted in local culture, its themes have resonated with audiences across India and around the world.
