On the first day of Cannes Lions 2024, Ogilvy and McCann Worldgroup have initiated India’s medal tally, securing three Lions.

The two agencies have collectively won a Silver and two Bronze Lions across two categories out of the six whose winners were announced today, June 17, 2024.

Please note that the Gold and Grand Prix winners are still under embargo and will be announced later today.

WPP-owned Ogilvy earned a Silver in the Outdoor Lions category for the “Taj Mahal Megh Santoor” campaign. This campaign for Unilever’s Brooke Bond Taj Mahal tea brand featured santoor strings recreated on a billboard that interacted with rainwater to perform a rendition of the Raag Megh Malhar.
