boAt has elevated Vedansh Kumar to the role of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), marking a significant step in the company’s marketing leadership journey.

Kumar announced the development through a LinkedIn post, where he reflected on his growth within the organisation and thanked the leadership team for their support. He acknowledged co-founders Aman Gupta and Sameer Mehta for fostering a culture that values creativity, while also expressing gratitude to CEO Gaurav Nayyar for providing opportunities to grow within the company.

Having joined boAt in August 2023 as Head of Brand Marketing, Kumar has played a key role in shaping the brand’s marketing and communication strategy. Prior to boAt, he served as Creative Lead at Zomato, where he contributed to the brand’s distinctive marketing voice and creative campaigns.

Kumar brings extensive experience across advertising, creative strategy and brand building. Over the course of his career, he has worked with leading agency networks including Dentsu Impact, Humour Me, MullenLowe Lintas Group, Publicis Groupe and J. Walter Thompson Worldwide. His experience spans sectors such as FMCG, food-tech, lifestyle and consumer technology.

Commenting on his elevation, Kumar highlighted the strong creative culture at boAt and reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the brand’s marketing efforts.

The appointment comes as boAt continues to strengthen its position in India’s consumer electronics market, with a focus on building deeper consumer connections and driving brand growth through innovative marketing initiatives.
