Škoda Auto India and BBH India have launched the latest edition of ‘Škoda Fan Fest’, the brand’s festive-season campaign combining customer offers with the enthusiasm of its fan community. Building on the ‘Fans, Not Owners’ platform introduced in 2025, the campaign highlights the strong emotional connection between Škoda and its customers, positioning existing owners as advocates who can introduce others to the brand through their experiences.
The campaign unfolds through a film set during an unexpected getaway, where a Škoda owner finds himself in a car with two robbers. What begins as a tense escape soon turns into a conversation about the vehicle, as the robbers become increasingly interested in its features and benefits. During the chase, they discover Škoda SuperCare and its ownership benefits, the brand’s safety credentials and its extensive service network. By the end, the owner has managed to turn the two robbers into potential Škoda fans, shifting the focus from the heist to the car itself.
Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Škoda Auto India, said the campaign celebrates the community of customers who have become genuine fans and advocates of the brand. He added that the idea is to let existing customers share their experiences rather than simply communicate the Škoda experience through conventional advertising. The festive campaign invites more people to discover the brand and become part of its customer community.
Parikshit Bhattaccharya, Chief Creative Officer, BBH India and Propagate India, said the creative idea draws on the natural tendency of people to talk about products they genuinely love. By placing a car recommendation in the middle of a heist, the film uses humour and an unexpected change in priorities to showcase the vehicle without turning the story into a conventional product demonstration.
The campaign continues Škoda Auto India’s ‘Fans, Not Owners’ platform, reinforcing the role of customer advocacy in building brand consideration. ‘Škoda Fan Fest’ is currently live across television and digital platforms, with plans to extend the campaign across print and outdoor media, reaching audiences through multiple touchpoints during the festive season.
