CenturyPly has launched a new integrated campaign, ‘Hara Board Ka Asli Boss’, featuring former Indian cricketer Rahul Dravid and actor Saurabh Shukla to promote its Century HDF Premium Plus range. The campaign aims to reinforce the brand’s positioning around reliability and performance by replacing conventional product claims with evidence-driven storytelling.

The latest campaign is part of CenturyPly’s strategy to strengthen its presence in the premium HDF board category, where consumers are increasingly prioritising trusted quality and long-term durability while making home interior investments. By leveraging Rahul Dravid’s long-standing image as “Mr. Dependable,” the brand seeks to create a strong association between his credibility and the dependable performance of Century HDF Premium Plus.

The campaign film pairs Dravid with Saurabh Shukla, who plays a sceptical customer questioning every product claim. Rather than relying on promotional messaging, the narrative addresses each concern through demonstrations, highlighting the product’s performance and positioning it as the true “Hara Board Ka Asli Boss.” The light-hearted interactions between the two also use humour to simplify technical product benefits and improve consumer recall.

CenturyPly believes the campaign reflects a broader shift in consumer behaviour, with buyers looking beyond advertising promises and placing greater importance on proven product performance. Through this approach, the company aims to build stronger trust and preference for its premium HDF board portfolio.

Century HDF Premium Plus is manufactured using Advanced German Gen-9 Prod-IQ and Bonding Technology and offers features including water and moisture resistance, termite and borer protection, anti-fungal properties, and a 20-year warranty. The product is designed for residential as well as commercial interior applications.

Commenting on the campaign, Keshav Bhajanka, Executive Director, Century Plyboards (India) Ltd., said, “Today’s consumers don’t make decisions based on claims alone. They seek brands they can trust, especially when investing in their homes. With ‘Hara Board Ka Asli Boss’, we wanted to shift the conversation from simply saying we’re dependable to demonstrating why we are. Rahul Dravid’s enduring image as ‘Mr. Dependable’ perfectly embodies the values that define Century HDF Premium Plus. Combined with humour and relatable storytelling, the campaign enables us to communicate our product’s technical excellence in a way that is engaging, memorable and, above all, credible.”

Conceptualised by VML, the campaign has been produced by WPP Productions and directed by Rajesh Saathi. It will be rolled out through television, digital, social media, ATL and BTL activations as part of a nationwide communication programme. The campaign will be released in Hindi, English, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi and Odia to ensure regional relevance while maintaining a consistent brand message across markets.
