The Good Edge has been appointed as the communications partner for Westlife Foodworld, which owns and operates McDonald’s restaurants across West and South India. The agency will support communications for the McDonald’s brand in these regions, along with Ronald McDonald House India.

As part of the partnership, The Good Edge will oversee corporate communications, media engagement, public affairs, reputation management, and crisis communications. The mandate will also include developing stronger storytelling around the brand’s growth, sustainability efforts, innovation, and consumer-facing initiatives.

With McDonald’s continuing to expand its presence across the country, the communications strategy is expected to focus on strengthening the brand’s visibility and leadership in India’s highly competitive quick service restaurant market.

Westlife Foodworld currently runs more than 450 McDonald’s outlets across West and South India and remains one of the fastest-growing players in the QSR segment.

For The Good Edge, this marks an important addition to its client portfolio and reflects the agency’s growing presence beyond BFSI into large-scale consumer brands. The firm has built its reputation across corporate communications and strategic advisory, and currently works with organisations in sectors such as real estate, infrastructure, technology, renewable energy, NGOs, and start-ups.
