Milan Nakrani has been elevated to Head of Media at VML (WPP), marking a new milestone in his 14-year career in media strategy, performance marketing, and digital campaigns.
In his new role, he will lead media strategy, performance, influencer marketing, and analytics, driving innovation and growth for the agency.
Nakrani, who joined VML over two years ago as Assistant GM – Media, has led integrated strategies across digital, social, programmatic, and influencer channels, delivering ROI-focused campaigns. He has spearheaded award-winning work for Franklin Templeton, Sony Pictures Sports, KFC, Tata Docomo, and Karnataka Congress.
Before VML, he held senior media roles at Mirum India and gained experience in digital and paid media with ChangYou India, Social Wave, and Communicate2 (iProspect), managing campaigns for brands like HDFC Bank, Star India, and Edelweiss.
His promotion highlights both his leadership depth and proven ability to scale impactful, results-driven media practices.
