Network18 has appointed Nalin Mehta as Chief AI Officer – Editorial Operations, making it the first Indian media group to create such a role. Mehta, who continues as Managing Editor at Moneycontrol, will lead the integration of AI across the network’s editorial brands. His focus will include developing AI-powered content tools, ensuring ethical AI use in journalism, and training journalists to adopt AI responsibly. The initiative will leverage Network18’s proprietary AI tool ‘Answers’ to drive innovation across its news platforms.
